If you do follow your dreams what do you do?

Secondly, If you don’t follow your dreams what would you do? 

It’s now time to follow your dreams. It is time to change your life now. Especially if you are stuck in a rut.

You can do anything it just has to start with you. I even ran a marathon up Bokor Mountain a few years after brain damage. So you can do anything.

What if you have the belief that if you try to follow your dreams then it won’t work?

If you do have this belief then you have already put it out to the universe that it won’t work. The universe is very clever, it does listen.

The universe will let you know that you have already put the negative out there. So it won’t bother making your dreams work for you. Especially as you have not even tried to make it work.

These feelings will set you up for failure. This will stop you from even trying to start to fulfil your dreams.

So, let’s change that belief

If you could follow your dreams what dreams would you pursue?

Especially if you knew it was IMPOSSIBLE for you to fail at achieving your dreams?

Try to look at others who have achieved their dreams and while thinking say to yourself

 

  • They seem to achieve what they want in life but why?

 

  • They are happy how come?

 

Well, one of the biggest things is they set their heart on following and achieving their dreams. They do not give up.

So, You can achieve yours too!

Bigger dreams will take longer to be fulfilled. So, this is why you have to take it slow.

You will have to take small steps and you have to work on these small steps bit by bit. They don’t just happen overnight.

What you have to still keep remembering is. You can achieve whatever your heart desires.

Do you want to achieve what your heart desires?

If you do you must start your journey now, especially if your dream is a big one. As that may take a while to achieve it.

What does this all come down to?

What does it all come down to

Mmmmm, what does this all come down to. Well if you want to follow your dreams. Then it all comes down to attitude.

Additionally its your attitude. Not your dogs, not your mums, not you friends, your attitude.

Doubting  yourself

There are many reasons why you may doubt yourself. You may even convince yourself that you lack the intelligence, resources, or capability to achieve anything.

But if you have a dream in your heart, then you can achieve it!  While I am sure you have wanted to eat something at some point in your life. Well you have achieved that.

So, lets replace that low self-esteem with some firm talking to yourself instead.

Furthermore try saying to yourself

“I can achieve this or I can achieve that.”

Start by questioning and attacking your doubts.

 

  • Are my beliefs really true?

 

  • Do they seem logical?

 

  • Therefore are they really who I am?

 

Most doubts are simply exaggerations based on fear. Your own fear.

Replace these thoughts and this fear with with empowering thoughts. Thoughts that boost your confidence. Instead of knocking it.

Focus on the big picture of what you truly want in life. Focus on the small steps that will get you to your dream.

You can start on this wonderful journey of following your dreams by making a list. A list of all your skills and the positive qualities that you have.

If you can’t think of any positive qualities, ask your friends and family.  You can even ask me.

Don’t be scared to ask your friends and family. Often others will see your strengths and weaknesses more than you can.

Take the compliments you receive. With a huge smile.

Do not tell them,

“Oh! no, I am not like that. “

Just listen to what they say.

Writing

Write your ideas and thoughts down. Then look at them when you feel you want to. But look at them often.

This will help you to combat the fear and anxiety. That fear and anxiety that lead you to believe that you aren’t good enough.

Next, list the things you want most in life.

 

  • What are your financial and career goals?

 

 

  • So, what do you value in life?

 

Questions like these.

Find these dreams that you’ve buried beneath fear and inaction

Once you’ve decided to go after your dreams, you may find this brings out a different type of fear.

This is because taking risks can be very scary. Remember those that take risks tend to be happier in life in the long run.

So, start now to choose to step out of your comfort zone and find that true happiness you deserve.

When you feel the fear creep in. Listen to what your mind is saying. Ask yourself

“Why am I afraid?”

Then work out is this fear helping you, or holding you back.

Remember some fear is healthy.

Would you rather pursue  a dream and fail or never try to achieve it at all?

The primary reason many people never fulfill their dreams is inaction. They don’t even start.

If you face your fears head on and take consistent action, you will achieve the success you deserve. But if you fail to take action, the fear will win.

Instead, take one small action today write a list and read a book.
